Interspecific Karyotyping
Looking at chromosomes can tell us many things about a species, but one major reason we look at them is to identify a species as each species has its own unique pattern that is has acquired over time through evolution. In this activity, you will observe chromosomes and arrange them in order to compare them to known karyotypes, resulting in species identification.
